World first : ITrium® proposes to apply the Immersion Cooling technology on a datacenter scale.
The economic, ecological and security advantages of this technology constitute a real breakthrough in the digital world.


Cooling servers by blowing air is far from optimal in terms of energy efficiency. Indeed, it is necessary to consume energy to cool the ambient air, via air conditioners, then to activate a forced air circulation to bring this cold air in the racks where the servers are located. Then, this heated air is dispersed in a forced way and almost in pure loss. The environmental balance is therefore very bad… and yet this is how almost all data centers in the world operate today!
The innovative solution that ITrium® provides consists of three subsets :

  • Computer equipment
  • The rack for the computer equipment with its liquid
  • The heat exchanger that regulates the temperature

This type of cooling requires a fluid that has special properties (dielectric and heat transfer). It is also non-toxic, non-flammable and biodegradable. The principle consists in a circulation of the fluid in a closed circuit by means of a pump coupled to an external exchanger in order to ensure the cooling.


ITrium® will be the world’s first new-generation, non-polluting and environmentally friendly digital production plant. This new technology for cooling computer servers has the following advantages

  • No CO2 and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
  • No water cosumption
  • No risk of fire
  • No temperature variation of the electronic equipment
  • No humidity, no dust, no noise
  • No corrosion, no oxydation

By installing an immersed datacenter, our customers will considerably reduce their operating costs, compared to traditional datacenters (air cooling). Because of its ease of maintenance and installation, the ITrium® construction is truly revolutionary since, unlike all existing data centers, the building does not require :

    • Specific air treatment equipment
    • Air conditioning system to create hot and cold aisles
    • Computer rooms equipped with false ceilings, technical floors, and chemical extinction systems
    • Humidity and air quality control system
    • Fire walls and doors

The infrastructure is very simple, much less expensive and above all, respectful of nature and the environment.


ITrium® is a revolutionary data center and storage program. This new generation will not produce :

  • No consumption of drinking water
  • No greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
  • No fire hazard
  • Increase the life cycle of electronic equipment by at least 50%.
  • Reduction of power consumption by at least 70 %
  • More compact than a traditional datacenter in the storage of computer units (with equivalent power)
  • Therefore, the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of the ITrium® datacenter is close to 1.01 (vs. 1.4 for a traditional datacenter)  and its carbon footprint is very significantly reduced
